Except Viola Davis scored a nomination for Doubt by being in two scenes, one that had no dialogue, and one that lasted for roughly 10 minutes. That’s something Meryl has never done and will never do. That’s a fact.

So terribly disappointed.
Although I haven’t seen The Artist, and although I’m sure it’s great to some people, I can’t really deal with the overacting bit that Jean Dujardin uses even when he’s out of character.
Viola Davis deserved that fucking award, not Meryl Streep, even though I love her too.
Octavia Spencer. I want to be your friend.
