So the interview went really well in my opinion! I was extremely nervous, but the Barbecue Lays I had on the bus over to Beverly Hills calmed me down. I ran into CVS across the street before to get a bottle of water/go to the bathroom, and a man literally kicked open the door and said “oh, my bad man”.
I stood there, staring at him through the sink while I was washing my hands, and told him I wasn’t finished. Then he turned around and left.
When I finished checking out, I left my resume in the store. The employee instantly handed it to me when I ran back inside.
I ran back across the street at 10:40, took the elevator up to the 4th floor, and walked into the office. The first thing I see is The Ides of March poster by the receptionist’s desk. Then there was a poster for the George Harrison and Bob Dylan documentaries, both directed by Martin Scorsese. There was another poster for The Woman in Black and some other films that they produced.
A guy named Casey introduced himself and took me back to the office where I was being interviewed in. There, I also met Saeed, and the huge poster for Undefeated (the documentary they produced that just got nominated for an Academy Award).
The entire interview must’ve lasted around 9 minutes. The only question that was difficult for me to answer was what the most stressful situation I ever had to go through, and after a few seconds of consideration, I chose my first semester of college.
I should be hearing back from them tonight or tomorrow or whenever.
